Some result

Okai,, we have some results to post: (click to enlarge)

Here is the acceleration spectral for Ch.0 – Compressor NDE Horizontal

Ch.1- Compressor DE vertical

Ch.2 – Motor DE Axial

Ch.3 – Motor NDE Horizontal

Ch.4 – Motor DE Horizontal

Now, i really don’t have any idea where those high frequencies peaks come from.. anyone can help me?

Some Sample Data

In case anyone is interested,  here are two sample data of our measurement. It’s in the CSV format. The first column is the time column (in second). As you can see i sampled the data at 10kHz.

The next columns are the acceleration data, in m/s^2, in the following order:
column; channel
2; Comp.NDE Hor
3; Comp.DE Ver
4; Motor DE axial
5; Motor NDE Hor
6; Motor DE Hor.

Hello world!

Hi all. Nice to meet you. I’m Taufiq, a final year undegrad, and this is a site dedicated to my final projects, the Veemont Project.

The Veemont Project objective is to develop a real-time vibration monitoring system. The object of monitoring is GSV 263 NH3 Compressor from Gram. The GSV 263 is a 4/6 screw compressor that linked to a 2950 rpm motor by a flexible coupling. It is oil lubricated and has variable internal compression ratio.

Because of the limited sensor,, we only measure vibration from 5 points:

1. Comp NDE Horizontal

2. Comp DE Vertical

3. Motor DE axial

4. Motor NDE Horizontal

5. Motor DE Horizontal

note:NDE = Non Driven End

Measuring Points

Ok, maybe that’s all for today. Wish me luck in this project guys!

Thx for reading
